Service · On-demand roadside assistance
On-demand roadside assistance, requested like a ride.
Roadside assistance covers the help you need when a vehicle stops being drivable but does not need a repair shop — a jump start, fuel, a spare tire change, or getting back into a locked car. Roūte lets you request that help from your phone, see the estimate before dispatch, and track the assigned driver to your location.
What roadside assistance actually covers
Most roadside calls are not mechanical failures. They are a battery that lost charge overnight, a tank that ran empty further from a station than expected, a tire that picked up a screw, or keys sitting on the driver's seat behind a locked door. All of those can be resolved where the vehicle is parked.
Roūte is built for exactly that category of problem. You choose the service, the platform prices the request, and a verified local provider is matched to it. There is no membership to buy first and no call queue to sit in — the request goes out from the app the same way a ride request would.
Roūte currently offers jump starts, emergency fuel delivery, flat tire assistance with a usable spare, and vehicle lockout assistance. If a vehicle needs towing or a mechanical repair, the driver will tell you what the next step is rather than attempting work that is not safe to do on the roadside.
Emergencies come first. If there is a crash, injury, fire, or you are stopped somewhere unsafe in live traffic, call 911 before requesting roadside assistance.
When to request roadside assistance
- The engine will not crank and the dashboard lights are dim or dead.
- The fuel gauge hit empty and the nearest station is not walkable safely.
- A tire has gone flat and there is a usable spare in the vehicle.
- The keys are locked inside and you can prove you are authorised to access the car.
- The vehicle is parked somewhere safe and the problem does not require a shop.
How Roūte works
- 01
Tell us what happened
Pick the service you need and describe the vehicle so the right driver and equipment are matched to the job.
- 02
Confirm location and price
Drop the pin on the vehicle, review the estimate Roūte calculates for that request, and approve it before anything is dispatched.
- 03
Track the driver in
Once a driver accepts, follow their progress on the map and share a live tracking link with someone else if you want.
What to include in your request
- The exact position of the vehicle, including garage level, hotel entrance, or lot section.
- Vehicle year, make, model, and colour so the driver can identify it.
- Which service you need, and anything unusual about the situation.
- A phone number that will be reachable while you wait.
- Access notes — gate codes, parking passes, or where to meet you.
What to expect
You see the price first
The estimate is shown before dispatch. You approve it, then a driver is matched.
Live tracking, not a vague window
Once a driver accepts you can watch them approach on the map instead of waiting on a callback.
Verified drivers
Providers go through Roūte's onboarding before they can accept jobs on the platform.
Some jobs need a shop
Roadside assistance is not a repair. If the fault needs a lift or a tow, the driver will say so.
Pricing
Roūte shows the estimate for your specific request before you confirm it — nothing is dispatched until you approve the price. Amounts vary with the service, the vehicle location and distance, and the responding provider, so the live app is always the source of truth rather than a figure published here. There is no annual membership to buy.
Availability
Roūte is launching in the Orlando, Florida area with an initial focus on International Drive and the surrounding neighbourhoods. Availability at any moment depends on how many drivers are online nearby, so enter your pickup location in the app to see whether a driver can be matched to your request right now.
