The single most useful thing you can do is note where you parked before you walk away — structure, level, and section. Photograph the nearest sign. Every parking app and every phone notes app will do this; it takes five seconds and saves a great deal later.

What to do when you get back to a dead car

• Turn off the lights, air conditioning, and any chargers, then try once more.
• Check the battery terminals if you can see them.
• Tell a parking attendant — they deal with this nightly and can help with traffic flow around you.
• Request roadside assistance with the structure, level, and section in the request.
• Stay with the vehicle so the driver can find you.

The roads around Universal

Universal Boulevard, Kirkman Road, Turkey Lake Road, and the I-4 ramps carry heavy volume around park opening and closing. A vehicle stopped in a lane there backs traffic up quickly, so if the car can still move, get it into a lot or side street before it becomes immobile.
