Disclaimers & Assumption of Risk
Last updated · June 11, 2026
1. Marketplace only
Route Technologies LLC ("Roūte") operates a technology platform that connects customers with independent service providers. Roūte is not: a roadside assistance company, motor club, towing company, repair shop, mechanic, garage, transportation carrier, insurer, broker of insurance, health-care provider, or emergency dispatcher. Roūte does not perform on-site work, supervise Providers, or guarantee outcomes.
2. No warranties
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," with all faults, without warranties of any kind. Roūte disclaims all express, implied, statutory, or other warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or performance.
3. No guarantee of Providers
- We do not guarantee a Provider will accept your request, arrive on time, or arrive at all.
- Badges like "verified" mean only that we received documents at onboarding. They are not a representation about a Provider's current skill, licensing, insurance, sobriety, character, or fitness.
- We do not perform criminal background checks of the depth used by employers or government agencies. Where we do run any check, results are limited and may be out of date.
- Ratings and reviews reflect users' opinions, not Roūte's endorsement.
4. Not emergency, medical, or legal advice
The Service is not a substitute for 911 / emergency services, licensed automotive repair, medical care, legal advice, or insurance. Do not rely on the Service in life-threatening situations. See Safety.
5. Inherent risks (assumption of risk)
You understand that requesting or providing roadside help involves risks, including:
- vehicle damage, mechanical failure, fluid leaks, or new defects revealed during service;
- personal injury from traffic, equipment, batteries, fuel, jacks, or tools;
- weather, terrain, lighting, and roadway conditions;
- criminal acts of third parties;
- delays, no-shows, and inaccurate estimates or ETAs;
- misuse of in-app communications or shared location.
You knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks and agree that Roūte is not responsible for them.
6. Release of claims
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release, discharge, and hold harmless Roūte and its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and partners from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) any Provider's acts or omissions; (b) any Customer's acts or omissions; (c) any interaction occurring before, during, or after a job; (d) any vehicle, property, or bodily harm; (e) your assumption of the risks above; and (f) your reliance on information shown in the app, including prices, ETAs, photos, ratings, or maps.
California residents waive Civil Code § 1542, and residents of other states waive analogous statutes, to the extent permitted by law.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (for example: maps, payments, hosting, telecom carriers). Roūte is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or conduct. Your use of those services is governed by their terms.
8. Forward-looking statements
Statements about future features, coverage areas, pricing, partners, or app behavior are forward-looking and not promises. Plans change.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in this document expands liability beyond what is set in the Terms of Service (Section 13). All liability limits, indemnities, and dispute provisions in the Terms control.
